If your son came home drunk, what would you do? Would you punish him? Take away his phone? Many people are trying to decrease the legal drinking age. Teenagers dont know how to control themselves. If the drinking age is decreased to under 21 there will probably be an increase in death rates, school dropouts, and a rise in crime rates. We all know that the cause of most deaths is drunk driving. In addition, if teenagers were allowed to drink, they would care more about drinking and not doing their homework or taking care of school. Crime would also rise because of the need for money.
About 90% of all deaths are cause by drunk drinving. When teenagers are drunk they can't control themselves. Their reflexes are not as sharp as when they are sober. If more kids are allowed to drink, they will drive while they are drunk and maybe kill another person. This puts communities in danger. Imagine not being able to walk around because you are scared of getting killed by a drunk driver. So many people have been hurt and scared for ever.
In addition, teens will probably dropout of school. How many times have you seen teens ditching school just to drink with their friends? If more and more students are allowed to drink they might not pay attention to school. They would try to just get money to buy beer. This affects everyone.
Finally, crime rates would most likely increase. The neccesity of money to buy beer will lead these teens to steal. People wouldn't be able to be safe during the night. The authorities will have to work harder and imprison more teens. Our soceity will be ruined if teens were allowed to drink.
In conclusion, people under twenty one are allowed to drink it will affect everyone. More drunk driving accidents would occur. Fewer students would graduate school because of their addiction to beer. Therefore, if the drinking age is decreased to under 21 soceity would probably have to deal with criminals, dropuots, and more deaths.

The Curse of Lights
We all think that television is a harmless educative thing. Everyone in the U.S has, atleast, one televison in their home. There is a variety of shows to suit any age group. Some of the shows are "Sesame Street" which is an educational show to "Family Guy" which is an adult comedy show. With so many shows available we spend more time sitting down in front of the televison, this affects us mentally, and socially, and health-wiselly.
First of all, we know that most kids spend their free time watching televison. Most of the population likes watching shows like Family Guy(a noneducative program), King of the Hill, etc. This programs all deal with violence, sex, and/or drugs. What are kids learning? Is it something that will help them in life? Will it help them in school? Instead of doing homework kids prefer to waste time watching shows that will damage their characters. They sit infront of the t.v. for more than 4 hours. They learn bad words from actors and use them daily. Then parents wonder, " where did my child learn those words from?" Television also, makes decreases our learning.
In addition, t.v. absorbs time that we use to go out with friends. Time that we use to keep in touch with our best friends or family. Some people are antisocial because everything they do is sit on their couches the whole day. If parents would regulate t.v hours for their kids; kids would be more friendly and fluent with words. By spending too much time watching t.v., kids dont practice their social skills.
Finally, it has been proven that sitting too much can cause hemorrhoids. Also, staring to much at a sertain short distance causes sight problems. Televison, also, releases ultraviolet rays that affect the vison. Finally, people don't exercise and just lay on the couch for hours. If people would balance their telveision time, there would be less obesety problems. Kids wouldnt be fat. There would be more peace in homes. Instead of telling parents to wait, kids would obey orders instantly. This way everyone would be happy.
In conclusion, televison has affected our daily lives. Whether it is mentally or socially, It always gets to us. People should learn how to balance their time with exercise and reaidng instead of watching shows like family guy that only wastes time. If t.v. was out of our homes life and soceity would be different.

"Why is my son lazy?"
Many parents ask them selves, "Why is my son/daughter lazy?" If parents payed attention to the ways they raised their kids; an answer would be found. Kids learn everything from their parents. From early childhood kids study everything that surrounds them and imitate it. Some parents allow their their sons and daughters to do or say things that it would be wrong for adults to do or say. They just think it's funny to see their kids say bad words and they show off about it. Also, by giving kids anything they want, parents are making them a bad person.
At a young age babies watch and learn everything. They learn to crawl, walk, and speak by watching the way other people and animals do things. They hear everything even tho sometimes no one notices. Usually, nowadays the frist words that come out of a baby's mouth is a bad word. Many wonder, why? If adults looked back, at the days, when their kids were just babies, they will see the reason. Parents use obscene words every single day. How do is it that they dont want their kids to say bad words if their own parents do?
Some parents just think its funny. They laugh at it saying, " Look at my baby, isnt he funny?" That is what motivates kids to use bad words and do dum things. Since babies just want attention, they will say bad words to make people laugh and think that they are cute. Those babies will grow up to be class clows or annoying kids that no one likes. People will laugh at them, not because they are funny but because those kids will be making fools out of themselves.
Finally, why is it that our society is in a bad condition? If parent would educate their kids by showind them reponsibility, how would our society be? Kids that are spoil by parents are selfish. They never want to help anyone. The only thing they care about is them. When they are in school no one likes them. They are annoying to everyone.
Do you want your kids to be hated by others? In my point of view, parents should educate their kids in better ways. They should prepare them for the future not by spoiling them but by educationg them. If every parent educated their children our society would be free of gangs and drugs and all the bad things that there is.
